Stroke

A sudden interruption of the circulation of the blood vessels to supplying the brain.

Cancer

A large mass of cells that has developed without the body's permission.

Diabetes

A chronic disease in which the body does not produce or respond properly to insulin.

Sleep Apnea

A serious condition that is closely associated with being overweight and can cause a person to stop breathing for short periods during sleep, and to snore heavily.

Osteoarthritis

A chronic, degenerative disease of the joints and joint cartilage that commonly affects the knees, hips, and lower back.

Gout

A joint disease caused by high levels of uric acid in the blood.

Hypertension

Elevation of the blood pressure.

Gallstones

Clumps of solid material that form in the gallbladder.
