Online Learning Resources

Welcome to BYU Online!

Taking an online class is a different experience than being in the classroom. You have more flexibility, can learn at your own pace, can customize your learning environment, and can review lecture material at any time! Many students enjoy the flexibility of learning online.

To be a successful online learner you must take a holistic approach to your online course. It goes beyond just logging into your class and completing assignments. Take some time to think about and apply those concepts you are learning. Throughout the course you will have many opportunities to interact with your classmates. Put some effort into these online interactions! This will allow you to get to know the other students as you would in a traditional classroom setting.

Learning in an online environment can also be difficult. You might be distracted, have difficulty accessing resources, or experience technology issues. To help you overcome these difficulties, we have collected resources that will help you to succeed in an online course. The following resources will help you approach your online learning holistically and will aid you in being a successful online learner. Please take time to review them!

We wish you well in your online experience!
